At Storm Power Components, manufacturing custom electrical bus bars is one of our primary strengths. We operate a large and lean manufacturing plant, produce more than six million bus bars annually, and ship them worldwide. Our bus bar manufacturing programs incorporate value engineering to help lower costs while improving product performance, and our design team ensures that each customer makes the best choice in metal, design, and fabrication. We provide AS9100D level quality assurance and manage everything from fast-track short runs to quantities of one million units or more.

Our facility includes a large warehouse where we stock hundreds of sizes of copper bar, copper sheet, and aluminum bar, enabling us to reduce lead time while passing along material cost savings to our customers. To fabricate bus bars, we use a combination of metalworking technologies, including precision CNC and Swiss lathe machining, in-house custom die fabrication, stamping, punching, bending & forming, etc. We operate multiple on-premises rack and barrel electroplating lines and offer various plating options to comply with diverse industry requirements. For applications that benefit from insulation, we can incorporate custom-molded standoffs or cover bus bars in a solid insulating medium, heat shrink tubing, epoxy spray, or film laminations like Mylar, Nomex, Teonex, Tedlar, etc.

Our turnkey programs also include assembly & kitting, identification marking, hardware insertion, and custom packaging.
